When I was young some people had an "Amiga", which is a female word. It's not a coincidence. As noted here, citing this page: "The system was code-named Lorraine in keeping with Miner's policy of giving systems female names, in this case, the company president's wife, Lorraine Morse." Amiga History Guide says: "The motherboard, named after the company president's wife, would later become known as 'Zorro', the 'Amiga' (1985 - 1987)..."
Andy from Cybershow recently (or as recently as months ago) reminded us that many of the early programmers were female and were in some cases (or categories) outnumbering - not outnumbered by - men. A lot has changed for the worse since then and many of the tech giants are ruled by sociopathic men. Virtually all the prominent slop pushers (a giant pyramid scheme basically) are men.
It is a serious problem that men too need to talk about [1, 2]. All men came from women (their moms).
We recently showed how men hired a firm of sexists to attack women, even from another continent. Such rejection and even hatred of women qualifies/enshrines oneself as an "incel"- a dangerous and violent online cult. █
