statCounter: Windows Down to All-Time Low of 25%, Android Leads the Pack, GNU/Linux About to Leapfrog Apple, Overtaking MacOS

Operating System Market Share Worldwide

statCounter's latest snapshot is interesting for many reasons. Android has more than twice the share of iOS, GNU/Linux is about to leave MacOS (or OS X) in the dust, and Windows has never been lower. It'll soon be measured as less than a quarter while Microsoft pours out gasoline.
