The Issue With Omarchy is the Slop, the Politics Are a Side Issue
Omarchy recently turned to slop after it had made a splash and then began incorporating the Omacom Foundation, which they say will "ensure that this mission is fully funded, durable, and ready to accelerate."
I am personally sceptical not of the sponsors (politics sometimes get in the way of the technical aspects; we should be able to separate these). I am sceptical of the slop maximalism.
If you oppose slop, which is a bubble, you'll look for non-slop distros. They do exist.
A lot of useds [sic] in social control media focus on what one particular person wrote and said about Islam in Europe, they've lost sight of the technical reasons to be wary of the Omacom Foundation. A friend reminds me that "CoCs == Code of (Corporate) Censorship - nothing more nothing less," so it seems the opposition with political colours (e.g. from IBM staff, probably unaware of IBM's past with the actual Nazi Party) is somewhat corporate. Those corporations do not oppose slop, they participate in it. █
