Software Freedom, Even If Difficult to Attain Due to Outside Pressure, Does Make You Happier
Peer pressure and opinionated employers can make friends and staff more miserable if they dictate bad software

A redbrick university in the United States has studied what leads to true happiness and this wasn't and isn't focused on money. It has actually found out something that I can personally relate to. Happiness comes from greater autonomy. To quote an article about "true key to happiness": "Over the last hundred years, the disciplines of psychology, genetics, and neurobiology have tackled the topic through their own lenses. Now, new research suggests that there's a single important ingredient to happiness: freedom. Or, more specifically, whether we feel like we are actually in charge of our own lives."
Almost everyone nowadays uses software. Most of this software is not freedom-respecting, so the general relationship is, the software controls the user and the company that makes/controls this software therefore controls the user.
It's good to have a reference/citation which demonstrates the correlation that nonfree software has to people's sadness. █
