EBay is Going to Die Soon

EBay, like Evri, did something insane. It basically let bots (which it called "hey hi") run through all listings, internationally (even in Australia), trying to nag sellers into making changes based on sloppy judgements by slop.
The decision-making process leading up to it must have been something like that: CEO/CFO says EBay is perishing and cannot keep up with competitors, the CFO notes that the company's huge debt is unsustainable (they pay interest on the huge loans), and then some incognito genius says it is/was "the era of hey hi" so they should use bots (they call them "agents" now) to make shallow, wrong, insulting judgements, then hope for the best.
In reality, what happens next is the same as Evri. Users will flee. Then, the CEO/CFO (with their giant bonuses) will explain that EBay died because the company did "not invest enough in hey hi!"
Perfect excuse, catch-all BS.
EBay does not permit criticism of EBay. █
