GNU/Linux Has Grown a Lot Lately
Based on Clownflare, GNU/Linux rose to double-digit market share this weekend (yesterday). Based on our own data (for several protocols), there's growing interest in what we publish, we've had a lot more activity in IRC lately, and the number of people online rose.
In attempting to explain these trends we've also checked statCounter and statistics from the US government. The problem is, those aren't updated in almost real-time like Clownflare's. This is what Clownflare shows for Switzerland right now.
Nothing particularly special there, same average as in Northern Europe:
It seems fair to say that GNU/Linux is fast becoming more mainstream as the world becomes "multi-polar" and GAFAM loses some of its grip; it devotes all hype/hope (for shareholders) to a pyramid scheme, plagiarism sold to them as "intelligence" rather than a legal minefield. █
