Secret Microsoft Layoffs and Maybe Another "Voluntary Exit Program at Microsoft in October"

Some months ago there were considerable mass layoffs in many sites (e.g. Microsoft Ireland) - layoffs that Microsoft was unable to hide because someone had leaked the details to a major publisher.

The "snowball effect" and slopfarms spread on the word (some misleading, incomplete numbers) and the person who had lied about the layoffs appears to have lost his job. It resulted in chats like these:

I accepted an offer to join Microsoft Ireland (Azure identity org) in coming weeks

This past week there are many murmurs about further (later) layoffs, e.g. :

1. Two days ago Microsoft insiders spoke of efforts to get people to 'voluntarily' exit this month:

Voluntary Exit Program at MSFT in October?

Is there an illegal NDA attached to that (to keep that secret)?

2. This was 3 hours ago:

Need suggestions for my fiancee

3. 2 days ago:

Got impacted during msft layoffs

We too receive whistleblower accounts; there's a morale crisis at Microsoft (same as IBM), with many refusing to work (it shows!) or doing the bare minimum with the expectation that they will be terminated soon (hence, no future in the company irrespective of one's individual "performance" or hard work). █
