Tracker of Internet Relay Chat Networks Out of Service (But Not Down) Since Thursday
The main if not sole tracker of Internet Relay Chat (IRC) networks, netsplit.de, has been down as a service but not as a Web site (it serves pages just fine) since about half a week ago. We've been pointing that out in IRC about half a dozen times. We hoped Andreas Gelhausen would restore full functionality. Either the pages are no longer being updated or the bots no longer check networks to assess/survey their utility.
We are pretty certain they're fully aware of this by now.
We should note that the number of unique networks they track* has grown since we last checked. Two months ago it said 503, now it's 524. █
