Microsoft Hiring Only on the Cheap

Today we see this right-leaning site talking about Microsoft sending jobs abroad (or bringing them home via visas). It's a very 'MAGA-sounding' piece, but some of the underlying numbers aren't made up.
Much of the same can be said about GAFAM and IBM.
How many are being laid off there? They hide the real numbers and obscure the data, playing the "numbers game" with contractors and temps.
Are there more openly-advertised layoffs coming before the end of this month and ahead of the "results"? If so, how many?
"This always happens around rewards time at Microsoft," somebody wrote 2 days ago, "but this year the targeted percentage is much higher than the normal 5%." █
