Book-Burning Mindset Does Not Work
It makes the suppressed voices more widely known (and their message more appealing, widely seen)
There are things people don't know about, never heard of... until those things became "banned" (or censored). Humans naturally have some inner "allure" or "intrigue" for things they're "not meant to know" (or see).
Such is the case of Techrights. The harder they try to crush it (or tell people not to read it), the more people read it.
We do not use bad language (we actively oppose and object to it), so it's not a question of style or sensibilities.
The predictable outcome of what goes on in Turkey is greater, growing exposure for things the regime tries to suppress. Dictators either don't understand this ("the Streisand Effect") or do not want to "believe" this. █
