The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Draft: Security Alert Announce#1 Debian/GNU Linux#

Hi,

I thought my first draft would be completed by knowledgeable Persons. The
Debian Maintainer did provided me with the correct Version number and
uploaded a new Version. There was no other information I have received yet,
so the Security Alert will be uncomplete. Since I dont use both Packages I
am not the right person for that Alert. BUT since there is noone else I
tooked the Offer from Bruce to write Anything. Unfortunatelly I didnt get
help on that topic...

> Platinum level service would mean:

This is not a option, since the debian maintainer DOES NOT support the old
code. If there is any information for migrating from lpr to lprng, then we
should put it into the announce. I cant do it since I dont use it (thats why
it is a first draft). I'm _seriously_ disappointed how security-problems are
treated in debian. If we dont have an stable release soon, I will post the
announcement with a Fix like: delete both packages and wait till we can
offer you a solution. This is clearly NOT a nixe fix for Debian Users, but
it is MUCH better than dont inform Debian Users about bugs which are well
known for month.

I know that very well.. but since we CAN'T GIVE that service (or would you
write instructons for me for the announce tomorow?) we have to publish
anything very very soon.

Greetings
Bernd

PS: I'm will inform linux security if we dont manage to get this Security
Alert out. I dont want to be responsible for the Damage Debian Users can get
from not knowing about that. The new Version of Zircon is uploaded and the
lprng is available... Please build 1.3.14.. anybody who knows about lpr(ng)
shpuld write a small readme for migrating from lpr to lprng, and then PLEASE
announce the whole in our distribution.
