Posted in Site News at 5:51 am by Dr. Roy Schestowitz

This post marks an noteworthy milestone. Since Novell entered its deal with Microsoft, Shane and I have posted 1000 posts (combined). There is not much to be celebrated, but it is at least worth a quick mention. Here is the Christmas card which we produced for our readers back in December.

Greeting card

Again, thanks for reading and helping us spread the truth.

Truth is sometimes very subjective. ;)

I’d say that truth depends on point of view because the only objective things are related to physics, nature, and mathematics (although global warming debates make you rethink that last part).

Our perception of truth can be colored by bias, but truth itself is objective no matter where it is found.

Many thanks for trying to tell the truth about Microsoft and Novell.

If we go by the comments, this web site serves very, very little purpose to your “truth”. The fact of the matter is, Novell, Linspire, etc., are trying to make Linux more user friendly and accessible. All of this ranting about the MS/Novell deal is just a bunch of hot air. If anything, we’ve discovered that Novell has MS by the balls if they ever get into a patent war. MS has to hand out over $300 mil to Novell and Novell only has to shell $40, you do the math. In any case, Novell didn’t sell out, proof of that is that it continues to battle SCO, and has won lately, in order to prevent ludicrous law-suits from companies like SCO, and MS by asserting the fact that all UNIX rights still belong to Novell, and whatever Linux may use that resembled UNIX, we have nothing to be worried about because Novell backs open source. People like you do a disservice to the community by taking sides and trying to split Linux supporters. Get a life, OpenSuSE, SLED, SLES, SuSE, Ubuntu, Red Hat are all nice distros, shut up and do something constructive instead.
