Part of the Oslo data modeling platform; the tool is closely aligned to the company’s M declarative data modeling language which is likely to also be subject to “revisions” if Quadrant fails to enjoy a new lease of life.” Mary Jo Foley says that “another piece of Microsoft’s Oslo modeling puzzle disappears” and by “disappears” she means being dropped.
Microsoft is dropping Quadrant, a tool originally slated to be part its data-modeling platform, which was originally codenamed Oslo, and is revising its plans for its M data-modeling language.
