Bonum Certa Men Certa

In 2018 and in 2019 António Campinos Has in Effect Been a Guardian of Battistelli's Corruption

Like Battistelli, Campinos also lacks professional background in sciences and patents. They fuse together patents and trademarks using misnomers and misleading propaganda terms shored up by the litigation giants.

It's not property. Those aren't even rights, either.

Summary: Like a 'pawn' of Team Battistelli, Campinos has done absolutely nothing about the abuses of Battistelli (in some cases even pushing these further)

ABOUT FOUR years ago we wrote that António Campinos would likely replace Battistelli as President of the European Patent Office (EPO). Our prediction turned out to be correct. Battistelli and Campinos, who are both French, had long known each other. They even did some photo ops. As one reader put it nearly 4 years ago: "Apparently some people in Brussels are getting worried that the current turbulent situation at the EPO could have an adverse effect on the planned timetable for the introduction of the Unitary Patent. In these circles it seems that Campinos is viewed as someone who could be parachuted in to stabilise the situation at the EPO."

"Battistelli and Campinos, who are both French, had long known each other. They even did some photo ops."Also: "It also seems that those supporting Campinos on the Administrative Council (i.e the pro-Battistelli faction led by Kongstad) are hoping that he can be relied upon to keep as many skeletons as possible from the Battistelli era safely in their closets."

It may seem hard to believe that tomorrow Campinos marks a 'third' year at the EPO (2018-2020). Time flies. Only a year and a half ago Battistelli inaugurated a Dutch construction site. The history of waste, gambling, graft, bribery and various other forms of corruption wasn't explored but instead covered up by Campinos, who also covers up the collapse in patent quality. If Campinos doesn't himself initiate another wave of crimes, well... he certainly protects those who did and he perpetuates those same illegalities. We certainly hope that in 2020 EPO workers will go on strike not once but several times. That may be the only way to restore justice and maybe -- just maybe -- hold some of the criminals accountable.
