A Vast Sea of Corruption Flowing Out of EPOnia (Munich/Bavaria/Germany)

Summary: Personal remarks about part 12 in the current EPO series, a part which has just been published

CORRUPT politicians attract other politicians like themselves. They gravitate towards those who will have gentlemen's agreements in a hush. Benoît Battistelli is one such corrupt politician and he's attracted to a convicted fraudster from Finland and neighbouring countries that they commandeer. Battistelli has another such crook in the Balkan region (we refer to him as the "bulldog" and he's still falsifying his qualifications without any consequences to anybody).

"...here in the UK you can run over a person and get away with it, provided you have diplomatic immunity; the only person arrested over revelations of war crimes is the person who had published evidence of them."The 'EPOnia' island (a city within a city in Munich and Haar) has basically become a haven for crooks in need of millions of euros (diplomatic immunity is a side perk) and German officials don't seem to care because it is financially beneficial to Germany. This racket needs to be broken. All those accountable, including facilitators, should be investigated and possibly detained, interrogated, prosecuted, then arrested. Will that ever happen? Not likely... welcome to the world of immunity, where those who serve the world's most powerful corporations and richest people basically get away with anything. WIPO has repeatedly demonstrated this and here in the UK you can run over a person and get away with it, provided you have diplomatic immunity; the only person arrested over revelations of war crimes is the person who had published evidence of them. Can the son of António Campinos borrow diplomatic immunity from his dad after drunk-driving and crashing the car? What has happened? Has the Rule of Law crumbled here in Europe? So what can we do about it?

Well, for the time being we can document the evidence and make it robust to censorship attempts, including SLAPP (because rich people love hiring expensive law firms to intimidate their exposers and critics; the EPO keeps doing that). The above video shows that rigging EPO elections isn't hard when small countries that are poor and barely have any European Patents can have as much of a sway (voting power) as Germany, France and the UK. It doesn't make sense, but that's just how it works...
