It’s full of crap, and I often use a free, legal alternative in the form of a flight briefer (a human) to sort through it all. The EFB concern is a complete nothingburger. There are so many layers of safety built into the system that a compromised EFB isn’t really going to result in any issue, any more than dumping a coffee on it would.
