schestowitz[TR2]    The other half of the issue is that the US worries that China may do similar.Jun 11 05:30
schestowitz[TR2]But of course in reality, TikTok already provides such access to the US government too when presented with a legal warrant. And similarly Microsoft collaborates with China's government where required by their laws. No matter who runs TikTok, they'll understand how important it is to follow the laws of whatever countries they're doing busineness in - and look to similar historical precedents, like when all except for one US Telecom Jun 11 05:30

It resolves many of the issues first-time migrants from Windows might face, while avoiding some of the complexities that other Ubuntu downstream distros, such as Linux Mint and Zorin OS, introduce. Linux Mint is a safe bet, and it's entirely free, but it does make would-be users choose between three different deJun 11 11:52

Zorin OS too comes in multiple editions, some of which come with heavily-customised versions of GNOME, some of which cost money and include a lot of bundled Flatpak apps. </p>Jun 11 11:52
