Browsing This Web Site Like It's 2006 Again
THE year was 2006 and I was working on my Ph.D. thesis while spending a lot of time advocating GNU/Linux and writing articles online. I had also begun writing a site "Boycott Novell" with Shane Coyle, who is still based in the US and is doing well. Those who are interested in seeing our humble beginnings can check out this Wayback Machine 'portal' (more snapshots). After all those years we're still here and more active than ever before.
It's important to stress that a lot of the old site is being converted into static pages for practical reasons. We encourage other sites to at least consider doing the same. There are many upsides and static sites can last a lot longer. █
