Windows Lost Almost 92% Market Share in Egypt
From over 99% to just over 7%
THIS month we see GNU/Linux measured at over 5% on desktops/laptops in Egypt, but we saw that earlier this month, earlier this year, and last year:
- Egypt: GNU/Linux Exceeds 6%, Windows Down to All-Time Low of 5%
- GNU/Linux in Egypt: From 0.1% to 6% in 15 Years
- Microsoft Windows in Egypt: From 99% to Less than 9% (Loss of 90% Market Share Since 2010)
What's interesting this month is how Windows went down from 99.12% to 7.8% (Windows down sharply this month) because it represents a loss of almost 92%, not just 90% as noted above (in 2023). █
