Today We Turn 18.5
The eighteenth "and a half" anniversary
So as noted yesterday, today this site turns 18.5 and we said we would be taking a look back and then "outline plans for the coming years."
Like TechDirt, post-Shiva Ayyadurai, we'll be focusing a lot more on freedom of the press while pursuing full accountability at all levels. Sirius Open Source is in court because there's a limit to how much a "limited" firm (or company or partnership) can get away with. But we won't let that distract us from keeping GAFAM's feet to the fire or advocating Software Freedom.
In the next half a year, ahead of the 19-year anniversary, we should be able to wrap up to put and end to a serial abuser [1, 2], then we can write about it in full. But really, our primary goal is to write about the topics Microsoft SLAPPers try to distract us from. █
