Slopwatch: Microsoft's Anti-Linux Propaganda and Cover-up, Slopfarms Clogging Up Google News
Today's "Slopwatch" will be short and to the point because we have many important issues to cover aside from slop-tracking activities that observe googlebombing of "Linux". Let's set aside the Brian Fagioli slop machine (which makes it into Google News via BetaNoise) and instead focus on 4 items that made it into Google News last night when searching for "Linux" news. Two twin slopfarms with keyword stuffing appeared in Google News:
Google says it hired the brightest people, yet for almost half a year already none has been able to see that the above sites are fake? Google News keeps sending traffic to sites which are 100% machine-generated. It rewards cheating, plagiarism, and misinformation.
Here is more:
Fake article from a slopfarm. Same as this:
Or this:
More LLM slop:
This one spreads a Microsoft cover-up/lie/spin as others did before it, misusing access to sites to make LLM-generated ripoffs.
There's so much wrong with this spin. Microsoft engaged in sabotage/vandalism and it now (almost a year late) gets described as some sort of saviour. Why did it wait so long?
A month or so after it happened (more like 2 weeks later) we sued the person who attempted to spin what had been done by Microsoft [1, 2] because he did illegal things to my family. He'll need to pay for it. █
