There is Nothing That LLMs Can Offer Honest People
The slopfarm Linuxsecurity is at it this week, just like every week. Its latest slop "portfolio" ranges from Linux FUD to openwashing and Rust boosting, even Rust badmouthing:
All the above are fake 'articles' with slop images along the way. Not only do they offer no value; they rip off real articles to make low-quality and inaccurate imitations. They indirectly stage DDOS attacks on sites that publish real articles.
We're disappointed by writers who instead of combating this ugly phenomenon try to act like it's "hip" and even try to play along. Jack Wallen does this, just like FOSSForce did it the other day (we covered this in passing).
Googlebombing gemini://
protocol while calling LLM slop 'free'. It's proprietary, it is malicious, and Mr. Wallen should know better.
LLMs are a passing fad; they're expensive and offer poor "value" for energy; they usually offer no value at all unless you are a cheater, spammer, and liar. █
