So "Harambe" (MinceR confirms it's one of the admins and has been for years) is at it again; he did it many times yesterday, and it was not the first time this past week. It targets many channels and becomes visible if or when they publish full logs (which include operations like CTCP VERSION).

MinceR says that "leenode has dodgy opers [and] one of them is running that craptastic bot [...] i'm considering leaving leenode".

We left it more than 4 years ago, but it's still there. Things has not gotten any less crazy.

What happened to Freenode is similar to what happened to Twitter when a supposedly rich kid (debt and bling) took over. The grown-ups left the building. █
