Blaming Everything on China
China is a very large nation and a very large population. China has an extensive industry and is also a military super-power - an army bigger than the US in terms of headcount but unlikely to go into direct conflict with the US because that would doom both nations, being nuclear-armed with growing stockpiles.
China is "bad"; no, sorry, China is bad. No quotes needed. There are no human rights there, the media is subjected to kidnappings, workers are treated very badly and so on.
But then again, consider what the Western "beacons of freedom" (or democracy) are turning into; that's not limited to the US, but the US is a "beacon" of imitating the Kremlin and days ago we saw the role GAFAM actively played in this transition. Bribing a Convicted Felon who sexually assaults lots of women buys them "Access" and a "Seat at the Table".
China is bad, sure, and its technology is genuinely dangerous, but let's not pretend that non-Chinese alternatives are benign. If it was TikTok going full "MechaHitler", how would the media respond? Would politicians demand that TikTok gets blocked? If so, why not X.com?
TikTok works for China. GAFAM works for fascists. Avoid them all. Don't just blame China (or "Jyna") for everything. █
