Today's Slopwatch is relatively short, as we did not find many new examples of slop which target "Linux" or similar topics.
We start with the Serial Slopper Brittany Day, who made this fake article that's meant to make "Linux" sound scary and dangerous (so they can use their SEO spam to sell services):
In Google News today we see two slopfarms, though for sure there are more that we are not seeing at this time. This one is slop about slop:
And this seems more like SEO poison meant to show LLM slop:
As usual, fake text, fake images, fake author/s.
Finally, the Serial Slopper Brian Fagioli had LLMs assigned to produce another fake 'article' for him:
This distracts from or may take traffic away from the original articles, actually written by actual people. █
