The Register MS (Situation Publishing) is Participating in a Ponzi Scheme
"Please do not invest in or participate (in any way) in slop," says the sister site. "You'll come to regret it."
Right now the administration in the US (more so than Europe or Asia) is doing illegal things to try to delay the collapse of the "hey hi" bubble. We explained that several times yesterday and today. It has long been said that in Wall Street (as in the American stock market, collectively) shares of companies were insanely and artificially overinflated in terms of their alleged "value" or "cap", especially compared to the EU, where valuations and appraisals were more moderate, conservative, subjected to regulation/oversight/scrutiny.
On another note, The Register MS has been trying for quite some time to profit from the Ponzi scheme by participating it:
Also notice the categories (orange; this sister site promotes a Ponzi scheme and Microsoft at the very top; this other sister site, run by Microsoft Tim, seems defunct; 9-10 weeks, no articles at all). This won't end well for anybody.
The Register MS is also experimenting with slop in place of journalism; slop has potential when the level of journalism is this shallow/low or, maybe by now (late 2025), a lot of the competition - new sites that are remaining online - is other slop.
The market in "tech" seems awful when a lot of it sells a fraud and journalism about this market is part of the fraud. █
