IBM's Watson Died in 1956, Now Watson Dies Again
Thomas John Watson died June 19, 1956.
IBM Watson, named after him, dies again:
IBM insiders seem to be joking about what's happening to Watson right now. As somebody put it 23 hours ago (the highest rated comment): "Yes, Watson is finally dead... I feel for all the customers who got on the Watson train... looks like they will be looking at a migration very soon. At the end of the day, shame on IBM... but now we got the confirmation of something we always knew: Watson was cr-p since the first day! lol!"
IBM is becoming just a reseller of GAFAM and other stuff, which in no way advances IBM's brand but instead lets other companies ride the IBM train. That train is headed nowhere special. The same thing was done to Red Hat, more so after IBM had taken over. █
