Kazakhstan Doesn't Need GAFAM Datacentres (Spy Hubs)
Months ago: In Kazakhstan, Yandex Estimated to be 20 Times Bigger Than Microsoft
With an estimated rebound for desktop/laptops in Kazakhstan and in general (according to data collected by statCounter), it's worth noting that the relative share of GNU/Linux is at almost all-time high. It has been getting close to 4%. This country isn't besieged by GAFAM as much as its neighbours are, maybe due to its proximity and diplomatic relationship/s with BRICS.
Suffice to say, as far as we can gather nothing came out from the empty (false) promises of GAFAM's "data centers in Kazakhstan". Those are just imperialistic outposts, posing as digital forefronts but in effect representing occupation. █
