The Top 8 Innovations of IBM in 2025
"Innovations" is just some word in English. IBM, resting on its laurels, likes to borrow (or piggyback) past accomplishments to give people the false idea that IBM still does "research" (or R&D) to "innovate" things.
Let's look at IBM's "innovations" in 2025:
- Sacking tens of thousands of workers while calling it "AI"
- Pushing people out (e.g. by PIPs), then calling that "retirement" or "resignation"
- Framing layoffs as "last days" (using NDAs)
- Censoring former staff using threats
- Hiding layoffs in companies you bought (via bluewashing)
- Faking revenue growth (by borrowing money to buy other companies' revenue)
- Faking advances and innovation by misusing buzzwords or rebranding old things using buzzwords
- Paying the media to portray you as a leader in fictional business areas or to announce fictional products (for some very distant future year), also known as vapourware
What innovations will come out from IBM in 2026? Stay tuned. █
