Thrown Under the Microsoft Bus

Some months ago we shared reports (even published in Microsoft's MSN) that a former coder from Microsoft became a street sweeper in Russia and months ago Microsoft had mass layoffs in its campus shuttle service.
Not too long ago we observed reports like these:

It wasn't the last. Microsoft is doing this all the time.
5 hours ago Monica Nickelsburg (Oregon Public Broadcasting) published this piece about the sorts of vacancies that exist at Microsoft amid hiring freeze (we saw more rumours of that a few days ago).
Only months ago the local media said that about 300 staff in that area had been laid off. Moreover, Microsoft shut down several campus facilities, some as recently as last month too.
The article from Nickelsburg says that the man became a "shuttle driver" after losing a job within a few months. Why would this shuttle driver job last any longer?
Microsoft wants disposable contractors; it can use them to hide the scale of the layoffs. █
