Lawsuits That Don't Work
Not as expected anyway
A lack of satisfaction with the outcome of a lawsuit leads to bitterness and resentment. The law firm that did a double-SLAPP on us (to drain our legal budget, i.e. to game the legal system) needs to recognise that evil lawsuits are bad for business. Even if you win these, what do you win, really? A piece of paper? It was already formally conveyed to them 2 years ago (around June 2024 by our solicitor) that there would be two possible outcomes: 1) Garrett is a million dollars out of pocket; 2) Garrett is half a million dollars out of pocket. They would not listen; we still have the letters that show that. It is premature to show these letters.
Today it is 6/6/26, not the same as 6/6/6 (20 years ago) or uptime of 666 (now over 900), and we've begun the second "phase" of the current series about evil SLAPPs.
2 years ago, citing SimilarWeb, Garrett was moaning that Techrights was popular. It sounded like jealousy and Techrights has since then become even more popular and more widely known.

"This is what happens when you don't file a good lawsuit," Garrett said in public on May 29th (2026). Was he looking at the mirror when he typed those words? █
