False Narratives of Slop "Efficiency" as Debt Climbs

Hours ago:

Red Hat also sacked many workers in east Europe this year (the media hardly mentioned any of that).

There is some consensus at IBM and it's not new at all. Some of that goes back to the 1990s and simple demographic analysis of IBM's workforce affirms this. IBM is moving where workers are cheap. Even eastern Europe is no longer considered cheap enough.
In recent years IBM latched onto the excuse that it was firing workers not due to financial difficulties but something about slop (like chatbots), even if in practice any client of IBM could very well see a change in names, change in the quality of service, and loose change.
They say it's racism because many people are very openly racist about it, but IBM offering totally false narratives that say "hey hi" or "agentic" or some other fashionable buzzword won't fool anyone, not even shareholders.
There's this new thread which condemns the media for telling false stories about slop; the story comes from a slopfarm, QZ. We replicate it below in anticipation of censorship (to protect the P-C narrative). █
