Confidentiality at Risk With Slop 'Coding'

We've been seeing stories of slop wiping a ton of data 'by accident', taking down whole very large systems (e.g. AWS) 'by accident', breaking previously working systems 'by accident', and causing data breaches 'by accident', like the above.
People who continue to cheer for slop aren't just misguided fanbis and fangurls. They do real damage to people who are neither interested nor involved in the slop, in the same sense that people who do not invest in slop companies and never use any slop see their power bills trebling [1, 2] and pension funds evaporated. █
