It's Slop
As noted in passing in a previous article, the Linux Foundation pays It's FOSS, a site that increasingly promotes LLM slop, not FOSS, and even does openwashing of Microsoft (the sort of thing Linux Foundation is paid to do).
It's not a new thing that Linux Foundation pays this site, but the fact that this site now has an "AI" edition or "AI" newsletter, combined with increasing amount of slop promotion, it is increasingly deserving of the title "It's Slop".
Maybe we'll exclude It's Slop from our curation. It's a Linux Foundation outpost of sorts, an apologist of sloppy code and plagiarism.
My wife reckons that maybe they are "doing hey hi" (slop for text) themselves or will soon do so. █
