After Involvement by the Free Software Foundation (FSF) LibreTech and Quibble Gain More Participants
Dr. Richard M Stallman (RMS) spoke 14 years ago at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), explaining that admiration and honour can hurt not only society but also himself. The other day we mentioned how RMS expressed gratitude for people who worked on Quibble and improved LibreJS after many years of inactivity [1, 2].
I recently heard from one of the developers, who was humbled by our coverage and said: "Anyway, I wanted to thank y'all again for covering Quibble and LibreTech — if you're able, please keep it up! Building trusted software starts with community, and it's an honor to have your unofficial sponsorship as we plant our roots. I actually made a mistake in forgetting to tag our own site when publishing the www.quibble.chat website, leaving some JavaScript untagged. Whoops! But someone who flagged it to us mentioned y'all via Techrights said they'd heard about us through there and were interested."
"We've also had 3 other new members join our development channels, all of whom said they came from either your coverage of the project or RMS's talk and the subsequent research into the club - not from Georgia Tech this time! This has come from y'all, and I'm thankful to get the help where we can to fix our (now) buggy application."

We hope to see LibreTech growing healthier and bigger. We're keeping our eyes on it. █
