Microsoft Layoffs in India
It happened a lot in GitHub a few years ago; it's still happening.

"Microsoft layoffs in India" sounds like a narrative or a "spiel" which contradicts (paradoxical to) the offshoring or outsourcing or importing storyline, but when Microsoft has layoffs in India it means that things must be exceptionally bad. "Buyouts", for instance, were only offered to very expensive employees in the US. It now seems like PIPs follow for those who did not willfully leave. Nobody is immune, nobody is protected or exempted, so people work extra hard to avoid being labeled "low performer". It has little to do with performance; it's about cost-cutting. █
"The mechanics are simple. A company packages the debt for chips, servers, and power into a separate legal entity, often a joint venture, so the cost never flows through its own accounts." -GAFAM trillions in secret debt.
