When the cult of Debianism conducts elections each year, there is a fixed period of time for people to engage in discussion and debate before the voting commences. When people start voting, further debate is discouraged.

In 2026, the secretary Kurt Roeckx set the following timeline for the elections:

Subject: DPL 2026 elections
Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2026 20:55:09 +0100
From: Kurt Roeckx <kurt@roeckx.be>
To: debian-vote@lists.debian.org

Hi,
This is the schedule for the DPL election: Nomination period: Saturday 2026-03-07 Friday 2026-03-13 Campaigning period: Saturday 2026-03-14 Friday 2026-04-03 Voting period: Saturday 2026-04-04 Friday 2026-04-17
Kurt

Therefore, people were not supposed to make any further discussions after midnight on 3 April 2026.

On 8 April 2026, four days after the debate period finished, Didier 'Odyx' Raboud, an employee of Liip SA, one of my competitors, used a different mailing list to circulate minutes from the previous Debian.ch Annual General Meeting. The minutes, repeated in full below, reveal substantial losses and we can see they had already documented the losses in 2025 but kept them hidden until the last minute:

Minutes *********
Presence: Axel Beckert (chair), Philipp Hug, Gaudenz Steinlin (minutes), Salvatore Bonaccorso, Didier Raboud, Nicolas Meylan
Excused: none
Date: June 16, 2025 20:30-21:30
* Greetings Voting members present: 5 + 1 Guest
* Ratification of the minutes of the AGM 2023 Agreed: 5
* Reports from the board
** President (Axel Beckert) *** Two rather calm years. The ZH meetups work rather well, they are better attended during summer months. There is also a virtual meeting which is also attended by non Swiss residents.
** Treasurer (Philipp Hug) *** 2023 The loss was 29'533.61. The total assets at the end of 2023 are 65'018.-. The complete financial report is attached to the minutes. Agreed: 4 Abstain: 1 *** 2024 The loss was 19'190.09. The total assets at the end of 2024 are 45'821.-. The complete financial report is attached to the minutes. Agreed: 4 Abstain: 1
* Discharge of the board Agreed: 5
* Approval of new members Nicolas Meylan was approved as a new member. Agreed: 3 Abstain: 2
* Board election Candidates: Didier Raboud, Philipp Hug, Gaudenz Steinlin Agreed: 6
* Varia
** Next AGM: Monday April 20th 2026 20:30 (Online)

They claim to have attached a complete financial report to the minutes but it is not attached to the email on the public mailing list.

In fact, going back through the same Swiss mailing list we find the same pattern every year: the financial accounts are never attached to the minutes.

The loss over 2023 and 2024 sums to CHF 48,723.70. Was that more kill money spent on spreading rumours about my family?.

Remember, these expenditures were being incurred at the same time Diana von Bidder-Senn was making her ascent in the politics of Kanton Basel. Her husband, Adrian von Bidder had died on the same day Carla and I got married in 2011. There is a detailed report about his death. Imagine having the memory of the Debian suicide cluster on your wedding anniversary each year.

In 2025, there was public outrage about the presence of a registered sex offender in the same cult. People wonder how the diversity crowd were able to get away with that for so long. Every time they hide something, we have to wonder what else is hidden and why.
