RMS Didn't Make Enough Backups

When the RMS site (stallman.org) came back online I hoped it was only some temporary old snapshot and maybe a newer snapshot would replace it later. But it does not look that way anymore, as RMS works on the current snapshot, which omits about 2 months of political notes of his:

Lesson/s learned: make backups routinely. You never know when the hardware might choke and die (or some VM go into a panic).

The issue is still flagged as unsolved, but if they manage to recover/rectify the latest snapshot, then it'll need merging with the above - not necessarily a trivial task if RMS updates many pages here and there.

Making backups is important. █
