EPO Hiding Cocainegate and Abandoning Transparency (Even Access to Very Basic Information is Denied)
In the past, until it backfired owing to our pro bono solicitor David Allen Green, the EPO had paid the SLAPP industry in the UK to threaten us for publishing suppressed and incriminating information
A year ago, in September 2025, the right-hand man of the president (who dates his sister) got busted with cocaine. The president quickly hid him under the guise of "sick leave", then brought him back for another role (same salary). The EPO is basically governed by criminals and they try to hide what's really going on there. It's really that bad. What's even worse is that European media helps the cover-up. Immunity, impunity, and no public awareness.
3 weeks ago the Central Staff Committee at the EPO wrote about "Enhancing Transparency and Communication, and Organigram" (it saw changes made silently, it had stopped being updated).
"Two open letters to the President" got sent, one day earlier than the communication that said: "Since the removal of the former online organigram, it has become almost impossible to obtain an up-to-date overview of the Office's organisational structure. In its Communiqué of 26 May 2025, the Office announced a new tool which is still not available. In addition, staff representation has recently learned that certain appointments, including ad interim appointments, and staff-related matters are communicated exclusively through the management portal and are neither published in Office News nor systematically communicated to the Central and Local Staff Committees. In two open letters, the Central Staff Committee (CSC) requests the President to remedy the situation."
These open letters are... well, open. But they're not public. So today we publicise both. The first concerns "Access to Organisational Information":

Organigram and Access to Organisational Information
Dear Mr President,
Since the removal of the former online organigram, it has become almost impossible to obtain an up-to-date overview of the Office's organisational structure. The only information currently available is a brief PDF document identifying the President and the Vice-Presidents by name, while all other positions are listed solely by job title, without indicating the incumbent or even whether the position is occupied.
In practice, the only way to link positions to individuals is through Outlook or TEAMS, requiring a time-consuming search that provides no overall organisational overview and presupposes prior knowledge of a name. This makes it difficult to identify reporting officers, countersigning officers and other relevant contacts.
Staff representation cannot regard this reduced organigram as a solution commensurate with the Office's mission. In its Communiqué of 26 May 2025, the Office announced a new tool which is still not available. We therefore stress that this technical solution be implemented as soon as possible to restore the level of transparency previously available and to provide staff with a clear overview of the current organisational structure. The ability to identify relevant managers and administrative contacts quickly is essential not only for staff representation but also for staff in general.
We would therefore like to know:
1. when the Office intends to make the new tool available to all staff?
2. if the Office abandoned the development of the new tool, what alternative measures are envisaged to provide an equivalent degree of transparency?
3. whether, pending a permanent solution, staff representatives can be granted interim read-only access to the relevant HR databases and organisational information systems to identify reporting lines and managerial responsibilities?
Transparency regarding the Office's organisational structure is a prerequisite for constructive social dialogue and for the effective representation of staff interests. We therefore ask that this issue be addressed as a matter of priority.
Sincerely yours,
Derek Kelly
Chairman of the Central Staff Committee
The second letter speaks of "Communication of Organisational Developments" (after the head of "Communications" at the EPO got busted doing cocaine):

Enhancing Transparency and Communication of Organisational Developments
Dear Mr President,
Staff representation has recently learned that certain appointments, including ad interim appointments, and staff-related matters are communicated exclusively through the management portal and are neither published in Office News nor systematically communicated to the Central and Local Staff Committees.
As such appointments may affect reporting lines, organisational responsibilities and working conditions for a significant number of employees, timely access to this information is essential for staff and for their representation to fulfil its statutory role effectively.
While we appreciate that the management portal was primarily designed for managers, limiting such information to that channel may result in staff and their representation becoming aware of important organisational developments only after considerable delay.
We therefore respectfully request that relevant information be communicated through channels accessible to all staff, such as Office News or dedicated communications.
The purpose of this request is not to obtain access to managerial decision-making processes, but to ensure inter alia that staff representation receives the information necessary to carry out its duties and represent staff effectively.
We would be grateful to learn what measures are envisaged to ensure that staff and their representation remains adequately and timely informed of such developments in the future.
Sincerely yours,
Derek Kelly
Chairman of the Central Staff Committee
So the first and second letters from the Central Staff Committee show a trend that contradicts bogus rhetoric coming out from the Office.
Given that a corrupt official and his friends (nepotism) govern the office, public scrutiny or outside scrutiny isn't something they can afford or will ever tolerate. The EPO isn't just becoming like a private for-profit corporation. It's also becoming more secretive.
The EPO is a lingering, fast-growing threat to European democracy and sovereignty. █
