● iTunes, iPods, And Linux

So far though, there are no hints that Apple intends to release iTunes for Linux. And my many emails to Steve Jobs (no I'm not kidding, I really have emailed him) have gone unanswered. Will tomorrow's big Apple music event have any good news for Linux users? I sure hope so, but somehow I doubt it.

● Is Snow Leopard Apple's most underwhelming OS yet?

There's just not much new and shiny to play with, but to Apple's credit, they've not oversold their product.

● Skype 1.2 for iPhone 'unusable' say bloggers

Skype's version 1.2 for the iPhone, released Friday, has been deemed "no good" by a number of users, with reports online that it crashes immediately after dialing.

Since I have been using Linux the lack of Linux support from Apple has been a reason for me to stay far away from their products.

the reason that i don't like them either is that i don't like having a special program to copy music over to the ipod. I just want to copy the dammed file to it, as in a generic mp3/4 and be able to listen it. And i want it to be able to play any format and not just aac/mp4. Thats why i use my GP2X to listen music, with "oldPlay" i can play over 150 formats including ogg, xm, mod, those of the old consoles like mega drive and Nes or whatever i please.
