The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: XFree86 3.2 is out, should we delay the release of Debian 1.2

If it would invoke a considerable delay, then yes, it should not go
into 1.2. However, I believe the X maintainer has claimed he could
have it packaged this weekend, and ready to go on Monday. As far as
"changes of this magnitude", I don't believe that there are
significant enhancements in R6.1, mostly bugfixes, and there are far
too many people out there whose cards are previously unsupported. If
the maintainer can deliver the package by early ext week, then I think
Debian has more to gain by being the first to offer 3.2 in a release
tham we have to risk through library incompatibilities.

-> xlib60 and the new one will be xlib61. at least on solaris the .so-name of

As far as I know, the soname for XFree86 is 6, and the libraries
should be drop-in replacements.

At the very least, we should offer the 3.2 servers. There are far too
many people waiting on the new servers for us to say, "Ooops, sorry.
We're not going to have a stable release with those til April".
