The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Debian release strategy (Was: Re: XFree86 3.2 is out, should we , delay the release of Debian 1.2)

3 months sounds good, if not kind of frequent.

Cutting a release is overhead, folks. It takes time away from forward
motion in the long term.

(Which is part of why I respect a vendor/project that can issue a lot of
up-to-the-minute patches, and still manage to produce decent baselines
now and then. It'd be a lot cheaper/faster for them to just issue
baselines, and forget about patching, but that isn't nearly as helpful
to the customer/user)
