The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Why were there many releases after rex was frozen

There were a very large number of releases to rex after rex was
frozen. Continuing to upgrade packages after the freeze date makes is
*very* difficult to guarantee a stable release.

I suggest that after the next freeze, we actively discourage updating
packages unless there is a bug which would prevent a stable release
which is fixed by the newly uploaded version of the package. Perhaps
the release manager should approve all upload to frozen after the
freeze.

Fixes for minor bugs should either be made before the freeze date or
wait until the next release. Forcing dozens of minor bug fixes into a
release is likely to destabilize it.
