The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I don't understand why any free software adherents would complain about
money changing hands, since money has nothing to do with the free software
concept.
It was my reading of those complaints that what was being objected to was
any "Comercialization" of the Debian project as a whole. The idea to "look
more corporate" was, incorrectly, seen as giving up the free software
ideals.

It has always been my feeling that the best persons to put in leadership
positions are those who don't want the job. I think most of us, even your
"detractors", agree that you are the best person to lead this group at the
moment. (I certainly don't want the task. This, by the way, doesn't make
me a candidate ;-)
Please, at least, wait until the BOD have been established and we see what
alternative possibilities can be created.
Personaly, I think the Board should establish a method for collecting
information on an issue that can result in a list of options being
provided to the "Director" for a final decission.

It has been my experience that volunteer organizations tend to "eat" their
leaders. Please dodge the jaws for a little longer. We really do need you
where you are.

Luck,

Dwarf
