The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Well, it had to be something like that...

Here is one comment, and I'll try to skip 2 cent cynicism for a change :-)

The problem with this act, and especially the ',etc' part as you pointed out
makes it open for interpretations. Put aside the fact, that the software
affected isn't us-only software, and the fact that even Unix, including all
its firewall capabilities are a result of joint venture of Universities around
the world, and thus ???

One should also look at the fact, that many viruses actually originate from
the us, so if an organisation running us software, that was stripped of such
abilities because of export restrictions, got its data damaged from a known
us virus... would have a case against the regulator, questioning the ethics
of wether the regulator was intentionally trying to undermine and damage
competition, rather than protecting national security.
