The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I still say abandon adduser:

1.) It is non-standard.
2.) It requires perl.
3.) It offers less functionality than the standard commands, apart from
    the interactity.

Instead of fixing adduser, we should start to work on an interactive
(user) administration tool which offers the full functionality and is
written in ANSI-C. I will upload a skeleton for this, modeled after
HP's SAM and IBM's SMIT within a week or so, i just need to clean it
up. Keeping perl around for admin scripts is IMHO a bad habit.
