The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Perhaps the issue at hand is more generally characterized as a lack of
communication (aside from all of the flames shot in the general direction
of Mr. Quinlan...geez) from the decision making folks. With the large
amount of change in the direction management of the project (at least it
seems pretty large from my little corner in the world), a direction-setter
might be a bit cautious to announce each new change as "A Positive Step,
without any drawbacks or reason to flame..." or what have you.

I myself would like to know more about whatever has been going on, even if
it is to say that little has been accomplished. I admit that in my daily
job I do a horrible job of acknowledging my users' incoming problem
reports, mostly because there isn't enough of me to attack those problems
in a timeframe that I consider to be reasonable. Not wanting to say "I'll
be there in 2.72 business days", I tend not to communicate with them until
I show up. Surprise!

So that's my small change contribution to this issue. Now I'll go back to
wondering why my school's internet connection seems so crappy since
yesterday morning...
