The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Bug#8119: e2fsck should be linked with -static

Sometimes, if they happen to be used for development work. Most of the
time they are used as X-Terminal, Network Components or simply as
portable to do day-to-day business.

If you recompile the sourec the default of e2fsprogs is to compile
it static.

No need of do this as i was to point out: it is simple to provide both
and i was about to propose that to the maintainer and to offer that i
would upload package containing the statical version if he has no
problem with it. We were about to sort things out when Mr. Perens
deemed it necessary to shut the discussion down.

I totally agree and again state for the record that Mr. Perens is not
the maintainer of this particular package. I was discussing that
subject with the previous, current and the upstream maintainer.
I think that involves all concerned.

Thanks,
