The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

That would be insanely great, if timezone constraints permit this.

Hmm. I'd like to suggest irc.linpeople.org for this purpose, and
especially for any online tech support planned in addition to the
telephone support.

I think the Linux Internet Support Cooperative is ideal because:

	* This is the network in the Online-Support mini-HOWTO.

	* The LISC network has a mission -- free, friendly online
	  Linux support -- which is as lofty as our goals.

	* It has only around 10 strategically-located servers (making
	  netsplits rare), which run specially-modified ircd software
	  (making channel operators unnecessary).

	* The no-operator policy drives away the most annoying people;
	  the channels really are friendly and helpful.

	* I run one of the servers -- anne.mccaffrey.linpeople.org,  :-)
	  a T-1 hub -- so I can help set up a special channel for
	  Debian internal use should that be desired.

An IRC addict, I'm online at irc.linpeople.org some 11 hours every
weekday (~10-9 EST), and have been since January. As far as I can
tell, only me and a few advanced Debian users have been answering
Debian-specific questions.

I'd love to see other Debian developers there, if only to meet them.
The collective wisdom of the Project must be staggering. :-)

Other linux channels exist, I'm sure; I haven't visited EFnet nor the
undernet lately, so I don't know what the #debian channel is like.

Personally, though, I hope the network chosen for this isn't linuxnet.
Apparently I've been permanently banned from #linux because someone
didn't like my nick (always "netgod") and my lengthy hostname (which
was "proudly-running-linux-kernel-2.1.29.netgod.net" at one point).

Oh well.
