The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Ok. I agree with most that has been said here. So will delay the logo vote
for Debian 2.0. Hey! That's going to be a nice release:

  - new dselect/deity 
  - multi-architecture
  - new documentation
  - new filesystem hierarchy (FHS)
  - new libc
  - new logo
  - etc. etc.

Great!

Ok, I suggest we move this discussion over to debian-publicity now. (The
list could use some traffic anyways :-) So everyone that's intrested
should subscribe to that list now.

I'll post some new logo guidelines in a few days and they will be
discussed there. Logo development will go on in the next few months just
as now, but all new submittions will have to fit to our new guidelines.
I'll also bring up some old logo ideas (the wheel, the bird, an igloo!,
etc.) and we'll have to find some artists to play with these ideas.

The guidelines will cover issues like colors, resolution, text on the
logo, slogan, etc.


I'm confident that we'll find a great logo for our great product!
